Program Overview: Navigate(formerly SIT): refers to the strategic guidance, support, and facilitation of a school’s journey toward improved performance and equitable student outcomes. Specifically, to navigate means to:

Lead and support schools through complex change processes by analyzing data, identifying priorities, co-creating action plans, and ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.

In practice, to navigate in school improvement means:

• Guiding leadership teams through root cause analysis and planning.

• Helping schools interpret and act on data to make informed decisions.

• Facilitating difficult conversations that uncover barriers to equity and achievement.

• Keeping the school focused on outcomes, high-leverage actions, and continuous improvement.

• Course-correcting when progress stalls, using evidence and collaboration.

Together, this partnership aims to build the leadership, systems, and capacity necessary to drive sustainable improvements in student outcomes and school culture.
