ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE-RISING

Leading From The Inside Out

We have all heard the phrase "If you don’t tell your story, someone else will." With that in mind, the Priority Schools Bureau feels it is critically important to tell the stories of our leaders and their communities and to talk about the work that has been accomplished through the State's investment in Teacher Professional Development, through Achieve Excellence-Rising.

Aimed at supporting and empowering New Mexico’s early-career and alternative licensure teachers.  In partnership with the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, AE-R teachers, Performance Coaches, and Leaders from across our great state have shared and will continue to share their stories. These stories are grounded in a community challenge that identifies actions taken and key takeaways.  These vignettes celebrate the tireless and fearless work that has been done by these leaders and provides a platform for others to see what is possible. These stories demonstrate that the investment in building the capacity of teachers across New Mexico is a worthwhile one.

Thank you to our AE-R leaders for sharing their stories. Thank you for letting us shine a spotlight on their tenacity, their drive, and their never-ending commitment and belief that more can be done for the children of New Mexico.

We are incredibly grateful for your efforts and for the continued belief that we can do more together.
